Press Release

MicroNanoTec 2010 – forward-leading industry solutions for miniaturizations exclusively in Hanover
21.01.2010

Miniature worlds are on the horizon: Those, who depend on micrometer scale precision, will find all-embracing solutions at the MicroNanoTec, Germany’s unique trade show for commercial micro applications. During the last years, the trade show has firmly established itself as an ideal platform for promising key technologies. „Microtechnology ist the future key to success with regard to energy saving“, predicts Dr. Uwe Kleinkes, CEO of the IVAM Microtechnology Network. “Apart from the manufacturing of micro structured components, particularly energy-efficient systems come to fore. Saving energy within processes and in day-to-day production means to save cash money.”

“Energy harvesting” seems to be the keyword to success in 2010. The power supply of wireless sensor systems is getting more and more interesting for a lot of applications. In the area of “process- and factory automation“– a hall filling subject at the HANNOVER MESSE – wireless monitoring sensor technologies will be presented. Those who like to have more efficiency for wireless production processes monitoring, cannot get past this topic.  Printed electronics will open up new ways of producing e.g. inexpensive sensor systems.

The IVAM-Forum will present the latest trends and developments from the whole industrial sector. Together with the Finnish VTT institute and Bayer Material Sciences, IVAM will present “innovations for industry”. Bosch Sensortec will introduce “sensor technology for consumer electronics“. The range of this year’s topics is particularly broad and includes a presentation of organic solar cells, fabricated by Panasonic.
