Microtechnology offers a great market potential for industrial applications regarding increased productivity and efficiency. Thereby it is meeting the challenges of shorter product life cycles and faster innovation processes. The international joint pavilion organized by the IVAM Microtechnology Network will therefore be present again this year in hall 17 at HANNOVER MESSE. Within the special exhibition area “MicroTechnology – Smart Systems for Automation“ about 20 companies and institutes will show innovative microsystems solutions for more efficient and more flexible production practices. Visitors and exhibitors will benefit from the synergies and extended networks that result from the other special events located near the exhibition area, like power transmission, assembly technology, robotics and automation.

The forum “MicroTechnology - Innovations for Industry“ deepens the main topics of the special exhibition area through presentations from research and industry. With about 60 presentations during five days, the forum informs comprehensively about the international markets and business areas of applied micro- and nanotechnology. The focus is on trend topics like printed electronics, systems integration or energy harvesting. Additionally, innovations from established thematic fields like nanotechnology or laser applications will be presented. On Friday, April 12, a Japan session will give an insight into the Asian microtechnology market.
