12th MST Regional Conference NRW

"Solutions for Life" is the motto of the 12^th MST Regional Conference NRW, which again takes place in Dortmund on September 1-2, 2015. At the conference, experts in the field of micro- and nanotechnologies will introduce ground-breaking technical developments in medical technology ("Solutions for Health"), and smart buildings ("Solutions for Home").
 
This year, the MST Regional Conference with its twelve years of tradition will be held in several places. It starts on September 1 at the conference center Westfalenhallen Dortmund with keynote speeches and workshops on "Solutions for Health" and "Solutions for Home". On the 2^nd day, September 2, more workshops and company presentations will take place in the two competence centers MST.factory dortmund and Centre for Production Technology (ZFP) at the high-tech industry site PHOENIX West.
 
So, in addition to exciting insights into the life of tomorrow, which is gaining in quality and comfort thanks to micro- and nanotechnologies, the conference will also give an overview of the various technologies and services offered by the Dortmund-based companies.
 
With the subtopics "Solutions for Home" and "Solutions for Health" the conference focuses on two areas of application of micro- and nanotechnology, which are particularly promising and diverse. What is more, practically everybody may benefit from the technological advances made possible in these fields.
 
The MST Regional Conference at Dortmund has established itself as a communication platform for researchers, manufacturers and users of advanced technologies. The conference has been held annually since 2004. It is organized by the City of Dortmund Economic Development Agency and IVAM Microtechnology Network with support of the Technology Centre Dortmund.
