8. COMPAMED Spring Convention

„Medical Technology to go“ – MST-Solutions for mobile Diagnostic, Monitoring, and Therapy Systems
May 9, 2014
Airport Conference Center Frankfurt, DE
Micro-technological solutions help to make medical devices faster, smarter and more flexible. The objective is to sustainably improve the quality of life for patients through increasing mobility, for example by enabling faster test results, monitoring of vital signs and blood parameters, or through innovative therapy systems for the chronically ill.

Smart and mobile systems are also establishing themselves in the so-called "second health market" and find broad applications in prevention and fitness. In combination with modern e-health applications, multiple uncomplicated ways have helped to increase the health awareness of the population and to address demographic challenges.

The event provides an overview of opportunities that micro-technological solutions offer for point-of-care diagnostics, monitoring and mobile health applications and areas in which they are already successfully applied.

The convention in German language is addressed to developers, producers and practitioners in the medical and health care sectors.

For more than ten years, the IVAM Microtechnology Network has organized the Product Market "High-tech for Medical Devices" at the COMPAMED, the leading international trade fair for components, parts and raw materials for medical manufacturing. COMPAMED takes place along with the world's largest medical trade fair MEDICA in Dusseldorf in autumn. In addition to the fair and as a meeting point for medical professionals and manufacturers of medical devices we hold the COMPAMED Spring Convention for the eighth time in cooperation with our partner Messe Düsseldorf.

The conference program and registration are available for download, too.
