IVAM Focus Group Medical Technology

The 11^th meeting of the IVAM Focus Group Medical Technology will be held on May 4, 2018, the day after the COMPAMED Spring Convention, at Fraunhofer IMM, Mainz, Germany about "Implants".

The meeting will foucs, after two lectures by the host Fraunhofer IMM and CorTec GmbH, on a discussion about the lectures and topics of the COMPAMED Spring Convention "Implants in Medical Technology". Especially the problems producers, institutes and doctors face in the production, development and the application of implants.

In addition to the planning of the further future activities of the Focus Group, the Fraunhofer IMM invites to an guided institute tour. The event closes with a get-together including a lunch snack, during which the participants have another opportunity to exchange views.

Program

The meeting will be held - depending on origin and language skills of the participants - in German or English.

The participation is free of charge for IVAM Members, Non-Members will be charged an administration fee of 100 Euro. Participants of the COMPAMED Spring Convention, who are not a member of IVAM and want to attend the Focus Group Meeting, benefit from a 50% discount on the administration fee.
