Nannovative

Nannovative is a micro- and nanotechnology R&D company based at Biotech Campus Delft, the Netherlands. We work with startups, universities, research institutes, SMEs and industrial R&D teams through two complementary modes of collaboration: short-term contract engineering and longer-term R&D partnerships.

For defined technical needs, we provide contract engineering services in micro- and nanofabrication, characterization, process development, troubleshooting, cleanroom support and technical consulting. These projects can range from a single fabrication or characterization task to the development and optimization of complete process flows.

For more complex innovation challenges, we work as an R&D and technology development partner, contributing scientific knowledge and engineering expertise from feasibility assessment and concept development through prototyping, process maturation and early-stage commercialization.

Our expertise spans micro- and nanofabrication, MEMS/NEMS, microfluidics, advanced materials, semiconductor and quantum technologies, and advanced characterization. With access to advanced cleanroom infrastructure in Delft, including Kavli Nanolab and the Else Kooi Laboratory, we work with technologies such as optical, laser and electron-beam lithography, thin-film deposition, wet and dry etching, SEM, AFM, Raman spectroscopy and related techniques.

Nannovative also participates in collaborative research, strategic technology partnerships and European and national innovation projects. Our goal is to provide flexible access to micro- and nanotechnology expertise, whether a partner needs a rapid engineering solution or a longer-term collaboration to develop a new technology.
