IVAM Microtechnology Network
General Meeting of IVAM e.V continues to favor the five-member board. Dr. Frank Bartels from Bartels Mikrotechnik GmbH was re-elected as president and Dr. Thomas Kritzler was confirmed as vice-chairman. The other executive committee members, Dr. Lutz Aschke from LIMO Lissotschenko Mikrooptik GmbH, Dr. Olaf Kiesewetter from UST – Umweltsensortechnik GmbH and Dr. Hans van den Vlekkert from LioniX BV were reconfirmed as well.
This years General Meeting of IVAM e.V. took place in the industrial museum “Zeche Zollern” in Dortmund. After the meeting, the IVAM Microtechnology Network and pro Ruhrgebiet e.V. invited to the evening networking event. Approximately 130 guests from the European micro and nanotechnology scene and from the network pro Ruhrgebiet accepted the invitation, attended a guided tour through the museum and learned about „physics of soccer“. Prof. Metin Tolan from Dortmund illustrated in his lecture, the reason why Germany is going to win this years world cup.
