A modern production is defined by a high reliability and flexibility at the same time. Continuously shortened product lifecycles challenge companies to use automation equipment that is quickly productive and can be upgraded within the shortest period of time. The sysmelec UniLink assembly system with its standalone modules provides a solution to these challenges. UniLink consistently implements the necessary modularity at the level of robotics and complete cells so that products can be manufactured efficiently down to batch size 1.

The system consists of modules for logistics, manual work, collaborative robotics and precise automation. Each module is equipped with its own control unit. This concept ensures that the various modules of the system can be freely combined and reconfigured. With the integrated plug & play logic, additional modules can be easily added into the system, e.g. when increasing the production volume. UniLink is also ideal for automating first steps at the beginning of production and then gradually integrating additional modules into the system. Completely fine-tuned modules can be integrated into the existing system with minimal downtime.

The central control panel, e.g. on a manual workstation, provides access to each module of the production line. The integration of a statistics module enables to analyze and optimize the productivity of the whole system and individual stations into detail. The modular and scalable UniLink system thus provides a holistic solution for a reliable and flexible production.
