Mikrop AG has announced a change in its technical management: Chris Jung assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on July 1, 2025. His predecessor, Wolfgang Braxmaier, has taken on new responsibilities in technical sales.

Chris Jung has been with Mikrop AG for seven years, serving as an optical designer, product developer, and team leader, and has been instrumental in driving key technological developments. “Chris combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of our processes and culture,” says CEO Markus Bormann. “He embodies a modern, solution-oriented leadership style that will further strengthen our technological position.”

Continuity and customer focus as guiding principles

Wolfgang Braxmaier held the position of CTO for many years and played a key role in shaping Mikrop’s technological development. In his new position in technical sales, he will now apply his extensive experience even more directly in customer relations. With this strategic realignment, Mikrop is reinforcing its commitment to continuous technological progress and stronger customer orientation.
