On September 30 and October 1, 2025, Dortmund will host the 11th NRW Nano Conference – one of Germany's most important platforms for nanotechnology, new materials, and related fields of innovation. The complete conference program is now available online, offering a comprehensive overview of this year's diverse content.
Participants can look forward to five inspiring keynotes on cutting-edge technologies. In six thematic focus sessions, leading experts from science and industry will present the latest findings and trends — including topics such as Advanced Materials Sustainability / 2D Materials, Structured Materials and Composites, Quantum Technologies, Nanofabrication, and International Cooperation / Innovation Projects. Another highlight is the large-scale poster exhibition featuring scientific contributions from young researchers, as well as an exhibition where companies, institutes, and start-ups will showcase their innovative products, processes, and services.
The high-caliber program of the 11th NRW Nano Conference will be rounded off with a networking event on the evening of the first conference day. Held at the Eventkirche Dortmund, the evening offers the opportunity to deepen new contacts made during the conference while enjoying delicious food and smooth jazz music — the perfect setting to spark the next innovative idea.
The NRW Nano Conference has always welcomed an international expert audience. This year, a delegation of Canadian high-tech companies, research institutes, and intermediaries will attend the conference to strengthen collaboration between Canada and North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, there will be an “International Pitching & Partnering” session — organized by ZENIT and the Enterprise Europe Network — providing targeted opportunities to expand professional networks through valuable new contacts.
The discounted early-bird rate is only available until August 15, 2025. Exhibition space is also limited. All program details and registration information can be found on the official website.
