The event will focus on stimulating the collaboration between component manufacturers, device makers and users from Europe and the U.S., as well as initiating joint R&D projects and exchanging experiences on the challenges of the respective markets. Main focus of the event: Microtechnical components for modern medical technology

Presentations and discussions will address current issues related to microtechnology and microengineered products for life science applications:

Where can microtechnological components solve the challenges of the modern health system? How can modern products, such as mobile point-of-care diagnostics, wearables, smart implants or vaccines and drugs, produced in microfluidic systems, be developed, manufactured and used sustainably and cost-effectively?  How can European and American companies cooperate to become more competitive in the global market?

Target group of the event

The event is aimed at life science companies and research institutions along the entire value chain: from technology developers, component manufacturers, software, testing and analytics companies to medical device manufacturers and users.
