CSEM with more than 400 employees is a Swiss non-profit R&D organization specialized in microtechnology. It offers tailored, innovative solutions based on its technological excellence.
CSEM is highly active in the medtech domain. Enabling technologies create industrial innovations. As an example, CSEM develops wearables monitoring non-invasively physiological parameters. CSEM also provides technologies for diagnosis and therapy covering system design, sensing and actuation, communication or power supply as well as bio-compatible packaging.

CSEM, founded in 1984, is a Swiss research and development ceter (public-private partnership) specializing in microtechnology, nanotechnology, microelectronics, system engineering, photovoltaics and communications technologies. Around 450 highly qualified specialists from various scientific and technicla disciplines work for CSEM in Neuchâtel, Zurich, Muttenz, Aplnach, and Landquart.
