The digital event series Spotlights of Micro and Nanotechnology will provide insights into the recent state of the art on various topics and aspects of micro and nanotechnologies. The event series will focus on innovative developments, but also on cross-disciplinary relevant topics of the high-tech industry. IVAM initiates the Spotlight series in cooperation with the Regionales Berufsbildungszentrum des Kreises Steinburg (RBZ). The event will take place regularly on the first Tuesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. and thus ensure a continuous information gain.

On June 06, 2023 from 9 to 11 a.m., the Spotlight Series on "How Quantum Technology Will Change the Way SMEs Work" will take place.

Look forward to Dr. Eric Mounier (Yole), Prof. Tommaso Calarco (Forschungszentrum Jülich), Thomas van Els (QuiX) and experts from Terra Quantum, who will answer the following questions, among others:

How is the market for quantum technologies developing?
What are quantum technologies of the future and what are their functional principles?
What advantages do they have in the practical field?
What funding possibilities and opportunities are there for SMEs?
What do SMEs imagine quantum technology to be and what of it is a reality?
How relevant is quantum technology for SMEs from the high-tech sector?

The event series is aimed at interested parties from the high-tech industry and professionals from the fields of business development, research & development, management, project and product development, and technology.
