Microsystems and Energy – from Planning to Manufacturing

The Zentrum für Mikroproduktion e.V. (ZeMPro) and the IHK Braunschweig are hosting a workshop on the topic of “Microsystems and Energy – from Planning to Manufacturing” in Clausthal-Zellerfeld on the 12^th and 13^th of June, 2012. The keynote speech will be given by Prof. Dr. Schade from the Energie-Forschungzentrum Niedersachsen. In addition, a total of 10, to some extent, multidisciplinary talks from notable speakers from both research and industry will be given. During the afternoon of the second day, the participants will be given the opportunity to discuss the topic of energy production, storage and saving in correlation with microsystems in moderated groups and to use the workshop as a platform for knowledge exchange. 

The goal of the workshop is the cultivation of exchange between participants and ZeMPro members and to develop a network of interesting business contacts. The ZeMPro recognizes itself as a center of excellence in microproduction and focuses its competence in the areas of microsystems technology, processing technology, measurement technology, plastic engineering, mico/nano-manipulation and system integration. The range of expertise covers research and development, as well as the transfer to industrial application.
