OPTOFLUX in Nuremberg, the European market leader for optical injection molding, took over the Philippine subsidiary HPOI of the Japanese HOYA Group.

This strategic move will extend the customer base, adding known manufacturers of digital cameras, mobile devices and virtual reality hardware. More than 500 employees at locations in Europe, America and Asia make OPTOFLUX an efficient partner for the entire value chain: from development to prototypes to large-scale production of high-precision optical lenses and opto-electronic systems.

“In the fields of automotive, photonics and medical technology, we have successfully proven our efficiency. With our new cost-optimized production base in Asia, we will also convince the manufacturers of virtual reality hardware and mobile devices in the future. Additionally, we are rapidly approaching a leading position in the production of autonomous sensor solutions", states Thomas Luce, CEO of OPTOFLUX.
