The latest version 2.0 software for the Rexroth NYCe 4000 Motion Controller is now suitable for all types of encoders. Supporting the direct processing of all types of encoding signals ensures flexible and fast control, while eliminating the need for an interpolator and cables.
The NYCe 4000 motion control system has been optimized for semiconductor and medical applications. It already supports a variety of motors for flexible machine designs, such as linear and rotating servo motors and stepper motors, as well as the highly specialized direct-drive piezo motors.
With the introduction of the version 2.0 software Rexroth also provides the capability of processing the original signal from high-accuracy position measuring systems used by the NYCe 4000 controller – SinCos (based on a sine-cosine signal) and the EnDat 2.1 and 2.2 and Hiperface protocols, as well as the signals from encoders for the Panasonic Minas A4 motors.
