This year, the IVAM Product Market “High-tech for Medical Devices” at COMPAMED/MEDICA in Düsseldorf, Germany covers a new subject “Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) for Medical Devices”. Especially with a view to the rising quality standards due to DIN 13485, EMS is a key topic in the field of medical engineering. Many manufacturers of components and systems outsource production to experts.
The forum of the fair, that takes place simultaneously, takes up the topic in one session. This session is opened by ZVEI – Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V. talking about “Services in EMS – Outsourcing of Electronic Products”.
It is not only due to the new exhibition area, that the IVAM Product Market records a growth again this year. By now, 40 companies and institutes from the field of medical subcontracting exhibit at the IVAM joint pavilion from November 19 to 21, 2008 – a plus of over 30 percent. There is only one booth available in the subject area “EMS for Medical Devices”.
Registration for this exhibition area can be addressed to IVAM. Jana Gliesche informs on the full-service-package as well as special conditions for members.
