Bronkhorst Cori-Tech B.V. has set new standards in Coriolis mass flow measurement and control by realizing the mini CORI-FLOW series including compact and cost-effective Coriolis mass flow meters/controllers for accurate measurement and control of low flow rates from 100 mg/h up to 30 kg/h. The design of the miniature Coriolis sensor features short response times and high accuracy, irrespective of changing operating conditions with regard to pressure, temperature, density, conductivity and viscosity.
The effective turndown is 2,000:1, with on-site possibility for the user to adjust the instrument to individual requirements. Suitable for both liquid and gas flow applications and capable of bi-directional measurement, the instruments are equipped with robust IP65 weatherproof housings and available with approval for use in hazardous areas (ATEX Cat.3 zone 2). mini CORI-FLOW offers integrated PID control and close-coupled control valves or pumps, thus constituting compact Coriolis mass flow control loops.
State-of-the-art digital technology is included, offering standard analogue and RS-232 communication, optional fieldbus interfaces and additional functions such as alarms, totalizer (to measure fluid consumption) and batch dosing. The instruments feature fluid temperature and density as secondary digital outputs.
Typical applications include research laboratories, pilot plants, semiconductor and fuel cell processing, food and pharmaceutical industries, analytical installations, micro-reactors, surface technology and any other fields requiring direct mass flow measurement independent of fluid properties.
