MEMS Industry Group (MIG), a trade association representing the microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and microstructures industries, has announced the release of its first-generation MEMS Marketplace (www.memsmarketplace.com), an online matchmaking portal that enables MEMS companies to connect with prospective customers and partners.
Designed for companies in the entire MEMS supply chain – from material suppliers to original equipment manufacturers – MEMS Marketplace also provides a networking forum for MEMS companies interested in collaborative or customer relationships. Anyone can use MEMS Marketplace to search for specific products and services offered by MEMS device manufacturers, foundries, wafer suppliers, equipment suppliers, MEMS-specific software providers and market research analysts.
There are four options for finding information using MEMS Marketplace: Category Browse, Product Search, Company Search and Industry News. Participating companies can manage their profiles, update product and service listings, and post recent press releases by logging into the profile management area of MEMS Marketplace. Using the “My Statistics” feature, each company can also track important metrics including the number of searches for that company and the number of clicks leading to the company’s website.
MEMS Industry Group is a partner of IVAM Microtechnology Network, which is offering another platform for searching customers and partners in Germany, Europe and worldwide with the IVAM directory online. Search categories of the IVAM directory online are country, region, technologies and markets.
