The IVAM Marketing Prize rewards creative concepts and innovative ideas in the field of technology marketing. The jury has nominated three finalists. Previously, ten high-tech companies from three nations have handed in their applications and presented all together impressive marketing concepts.

The winner will be announced on April 14, 2016 subsequent to the annual general meeting of the IVAM Microtechnology Network in the DASA Working World Exhibition in Dortmund. The jury’s criteria consist of the strategic, technical and target-group-specific approach as well as the degree of informative content, actuality, esthetics, creativity, innovation and originality.

eagleyard Photonics GmbH from Berlin is a leading provider of high-power laser diodes with wavelengths ranging from 630 nm to 1,120 nm. eagleyard applied with a campaign which has been used in the course of Laser World of Photonics 2015 in Munich. It exemplified photonic products in a technical and visual manner and personified them aesthetically. Beside the booth design, the campaign consisted of printed media, online advertising banners, flyers and a website.

Polytech GmbH from Waldbronn is another finalist and has been already nominated multiple times before and has won the marketing prize in 2014. Polytech applied with a campaign for the TMS-350 TopMap In.Line - surface metrology. During the industrial production flawed parts have to be replaced before further processing to avoid unnecessary costs. Polytech has built its campaign on the picture of these “black sheep”, which symbolize the “runaways”. A black sheep appeared in several mailings, online banners and further media to invite the addressees to the fair Control 2015 in Stuttgart.
