LioniX International has announced that Arne Leinse is the new CEO as of January 1, 2020. With his long background in integrated photonics and cleanroom processing, combined with his extensive experience running large commercial projects, Arne Leinse will lead the company to the next level of growth.

After successfully leading and growing the company from the start in 2001 the previous CEO Hans van den Vlekkert has decided to step down and take a new role as Vice President strategic business development, in which he will stay involved in the companies roadmap and the strategic choices for the future. Hans van den Vlekkert successfully guided the company through the international ecosystem of high tech customers, which resulted in a strategic acquisition by Magic Micro (Korea) in 2016.

Commenting on his appointment Arne Leinse says: “I am honored to continue the work that Hans van den Vlekkert started 19 years ago. He built the company together with the other co-founder and current CTO René Heideman and I am looking forward to continue this work. The market of microsystem technology based modules is growing and has a lot of potential. Exploiting this full potential is the goal for the coming years”.

“I am glad that Arne Leinse takes over from me the role of CEO since it feels I am leaving the company in good hands and will dedicate myself to further develop the business strategy of LioniX International” says Hans van den Vlekkert.

LioniX International is the leading global provider of customized microsystem solutions, in particular integrated photonics-based, in scalable production volumes.
