24.02.2011: Export remains steady in 2010

The micro- and nanotechnology industry’s export quota has remained more or less steady in 2010 compared to the previous year. A quarter of the companies have made more than 75% of turnover from exports. Half of the export transactions take place within Europe. Germany is the most important export market for the neighbouring European countries, followed by the U.S. and China. German high-tech companies export mainly to the United States, China and Switzerland.
