Guide for the initial adjustment of injection molding machines

After a long time the “Guide for the initial adjustment of injection molding machines” edited by the Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid has been sold out, finally a new, revised edition of our successful textbook is available. The guide supports the operator in the basic steps of setting up an injection molding machine from scratch including the input of all important parameters. In doing so, the manual is mainly addressing the following issues: basics of injection molding, mold installation and control, temperatures of the mold wall and the plasticizing unit, closing unit, aggregate movements, basic settings of the plasticizing unit, mold filling study and change-over point, optimization of the processing parameters as well as process fluctuations.

Hence, it provides all of the basic information and further advice for the adjustment of injection molding machines and the molding process itself for novices as well as for advanced learners and experts that strive to complete their knowledge in the field of practical applications.
Being published at the beginning of the decade first time, the “Guide for the initial adjustment of injection molding machines” has been developed and improved continuously from then on. In the present third edition, it is on a level with state-of-the-art knowledge and trendsetting technique. The settings are explained by means of sketches which helps the guide to achieve a maximum of clarity.
